Working out the new Wishbone tracks
People always ask me how I work out the drums for new songs. The next Wishbone tour begins 3 days after I get back from my holiday in Toronto/New York. I got the tracks to learn a day before I left - so basically I have to work the stuff out before I get back. We had 4 hours to kill between arriving at JFK and transferring to Toronto so I got a burger and began learning the songs. I wrote the charts in the back of my diary. I actually only got one done - then I decided some were a bit long and complicated so I started chopping them up in Cubase instead.
