The Earthquake

The last time I visited San Francisco I think I was about 12 years old. We visited Ghirardelli's famous chocolate shop and ordered the Earthquake - a dinner plate with 8 (american sized) scoops of ice-cream, 8 toppings and a lot of whipped cream. I think 4 of us just about managed to finish it.

Today I spent the day in San Francisco again. Visited Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, and was happy to discover that the Earthquake was still on the menu at Ghirardelli's. This time there was only me and one other person but we figured we had to try...
