As some of you may know, I´m a bit of an old car nut. I had my trusty
MGB in the UK for the spring tour and drove it to Normandie in june and later back home thru France and germany. with no breakdowns. Close to 5000miles for a 45 year old car, that´s not too bad!
Place where I live, some 20km from Helsinki, seems to be a heaven for a classic car enthusiastic. There´s at least 4 old Mg´s living within 5 miles, old Jags and Austins, as well as old american cars. A few weeks ago I took part in a drive, some 40-50 classics driving in a line on the small country roads. Sun was shining, people were standin on the side of the road waving. What could be better?
This is a 68 E-type I found at the back of a barn near my place. The bonnet is from a series one though. At first I thought about starting to restore it myself, with a friend of mine, but luckily came to my senses. I unfortunately don´t have enough skills nor money nor time.
But if somebody is interested, the wreck is for sale..
