It's been a tight schedule but we look like finishing on time and in time, hopefully, for an October release. There are some still photos to find for the booklet, a final look at the bonus road movie (pretty funny in places) and we are in business!
This Hi Def recording is AMAZING! It's also a little scary since every wrinkle on this old face shows up, every little detail of EVERYTHING, in fact; the guitars and drums, expressions, detailed information of the audience included. At one point, we did not have a note of the running order so all we simply had to do was check out the words on Joe's tiny (relatively) set list caught on camera. Similarly, if you wish to monitor the time during the recording, just check out Muddy's watch.
You can view Wishbone Ash in much the same way as you might view wild animals on a National Geographic nature program, so to speak. In the two years since we made the universally acclaimed, Live in Hamburg DVD, the technology has simply made huge leaps forward making for quite a different rock & roll viewing and listening experience.
The show will also be available for those who like their mixes in 5.1 Surround Sound.
