A Walk....
Before departing for Falmouth, Joe and I went for a walk along the disused railway tracks running over a viaduct and around the outskirts of town. There was a plaque on one of the houses denoting the birthplace of W.H. Smith the famed stationer and newsagent who started the chain of stores that can be found in every high street in the U.K. Oh yes, and the gig was pretty good too. When we arrived at the Wharf venue last night, down by the river, there was a funfair in full swing so we took a look around after the sound check. A quick mention for the Brown’s Hotel Bistro, where we dined in style before the gig.
