Spread the word about Wishbone Ash

It's 2:10am now and I really should get some sleep.
I'm really keen on spreading the word about this band (as I'm sure you are). I hadn't heard of Wishbone Ash when I joined - perhaps I'm just a bit too young. Thankfully I really like the music.

Friends and family have learned over the last year that I'm now a member of this band. The response I usually get is either

    a) Wishbone who?
    b) Wishbone Ash, I remember them. I didn't know they were still touring.

All who've been to see a gig have really enjoyed it and many have returned to see the band again.

I believe that the majority of people who know of the band may not be aware that we're touring regularly and would be glad to find out.

How can we spread the word? Well, for those of you who've heard of social networking, I've added links to the home page so you can easily add Wishboneash.com. Just scroll to the bottom of the home page and click one of the share buttons (stumbleupon, digg, facebook, etc) in order to register your interest in the site.

On other levels just calling local radio stations to ask them to play something from the new (or any) Wishbone Ash album is always a good thing.

This page lists all radio stations within 20 miles of gigs. If you want to call or email them to request a song you might want to mention that we're playing nearby too.

This page lists all the local radio contact info lovingly collated for me by loyal Ashers. If you're bored one day you might want to call or email in requests to any of these.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a journalist maybe you'd like to review a gig and send it to the local press.

Basically, anything you can think of to spread the word is good.

It's 2:41am now and my eyes are closing of their own accord. Time to turn pull myself away from this glowing rectangle....

    Night,

    Joe
