    Useful Welsh phrases

So it's a while since I've done a proper blog. It's been all this techy stuff for too long. I have been taking the odd photo though - just those odd things that attract my attention and seemingly nobody else's. Where Michelangelo uses the medium of painting and sculpture to make you take a more considered look at the human form I prefer the iPhone and Flickr to bring to your attention the random crap that clutters our world.

On walking from the van at the gig in Builth Wells I noticed this beauty. Isn't serendipity a wonderful thing. Only the other day I was wondering what the Welsh for 'do not sit on the bull' was. Granted it's not the exact same phrase but it would have sufficed.

I suppose the only problem with this sign was that it was the only one. Of course I spotted it after climbing on the bull which is, of course, what everyone wants to do.

I want to see a sign that says 'do not read this sign'.

(Supposedly the pen is mightier than the sword. Michelangelo knew that the nunchucks are mightier than the pen! Trust me, if someone's coming at you with some nunchucks and you only have a Bic - RUN)
