It’s a wet and windy Monday here in Connecticut. The word is that Las Vegas, as a venue for this year’s AshFest is not going to fly. You know about the reasons by now – the economy, the cost, the location and so on…..BUT we’ve been working behind the scenes to scope out Club Med, Sandpiper in Port St. Lucie Florida AGAIN, for an ALL INCLUSIVE AshFest for some time in June of 2010. At least 50% of those that signed up for Vegas, said they’d definitely be on board for this venue change. So we started to look into it again. Everyone agrees 100% what a great time we all had there and the fact that there are all those Florida vacation opportunities within two hours drive, make it a no - brainer for a long weekend or as part of a longer Florida vacation.
In any case, for those saddened about missing out on Vegas, it looks like there MIGHT be a Boulder Station date within the November USA tour plan in. It could just be for a one off show. We’ll keep you informed.
Yes, the USA tour looks like being in November now. It’s no secret just how problematic things are out there in clubland USA, but if we gear up for a November tour, with work permits and everything being applied for, then these will last us through 2009 and past June 2010, thereby making a Club Med vacation package, a natural thing. (I’ll be ready for a break by then, anyway). Tour plans are already well under way for October, November, January and February in various other territories worldwide, so earmark your calendars.
